Fans Assistant is an independent, informational World Cup 2026 site offering schedules, where-to-watch guides, calendar tools, and a prediction maker. You do not need an account, and we do not ask for personal details to use the site.

Information we collect

We do not collect your name, email, or account. We use privacy-respecting analytics to understand aggregate traffic, and your browser may share standard technical data such as IP address, device type, and pages viewed with the third-party services below.

Cookies and analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager to measure traffic, and a Pinterest tag for advertising measurement. These may set cookies or similar identifiers. You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings.

Pinterest API data

If you connect a Pinterest account or authorize Pinterest-related features, Fans Assistant uses the Pinterest API to access the Pinterest data needed to provide those features. Depending on the permissions you approve, this may include Pinterest account identifiers, profile information, boards, pins, pin metadata, media URLs, analytics, and other Pinterest-derived data made available through the Pinterest API.

We use Pinterest API data only to operate, display, analyze, schedule, organize, or improve the Pinterest-related features you request. We do not use Pinterest API data for unrelated purposes.

No Pinterest endorsement or affiliation

Fans Assistant is not endorsed by Pinterest and is not affiliated with Pinterest. Pinterest is a trademark of Pinterest, Inc. Any Pinterest content shown in Fans Assistant remains subject to Pinterest's terms and policies.

Sharing and resale of Pinterest data

We do not sell, resell, license, distribute, or otherwise provide Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data to third parties. We may share limited information with service providers only when necessary to operate Fans Assistant, such as hosting, storage, analytics, security, or customer support providers. These providers are not permitted to use Pinterest content or Pinterest-derived data for their own independent purposes.

Disconnecting Pinterest

You may disconnect your Pinterest account from Fans Assistant at any time through the app settings or by contacting us. After disconnection, we stop using the Pinterest API for your account and revoke or delete stored access tokens where technically possible.

When you disconnect Pinterest, we delete Pinterest-derived data associated with your account within 30 days, unless a shorter period is required by law or Pinterest's developer terms. Backup copies may persist for a limited time in routine backups, but they are not used for active product features and are deleted according to our backup retention cycle.

Your predictions stay on your device

Predictions you make in the predictor are saved in your browser local storage on your own device. They are not sent to us. A prediction is shared only when you choose to copy a share link, which encodes your picks in the link itself.

Third-party services

Data may be processed by Google, Pinterest, and affiliate or VPN and streaming partners, each under their own privacy policies. We do not control those services.

Your choices

You can opt out of analytics using browser settings or extensions, clear local storage to remove saved predictions, and use your browser cookie controls at any time.

Children

This site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
